CommBank Goes All In for Young Carers
CaringKids is incredibly grateful to the CommBank Staff Foundation for awarding a $20,000 grant in 2025 to support young carers across Australia.
Across 18 CommBank branches in Sydney’s eastern suburbs, staff collected toys for CaringKids, helping fill Joy Boxes for children who give so much of themselves caring for a family member living with disability or illness. CaringKids visited the Hurstville branch to collect the donations in person, a special moment to say thank you face-to-face to CommBank supportive staff that go the extra mile to help us fill up our toy workshop with toys.
This initiative was coordinated by the staff and comprised of new toys, games and books donated by staff to fill Joy Boxes. In 2025 the CommBank Foundation grant was made possible through CommBank’s Workplace Giving Program, thank you to every staff member who participated and chose to support CaringKids!
