Lions in Support of CaringKids Charity Project Awards
These Recognition Awards are a wonderful way to reward Lions and others who have demonstrated kindness towards young carers. Young carers are children caring for family members living with a disability or chronic illness. The funds are of great assistance to provide a Joy Box for young carers.
Barry J Palmer AO ‘Kindness Matters’ Recognition Award
Australian Past International President Barry J Palmer AO (2013-2014) whose motto was “Follow your Dream” also previously served as District Governor for District 201N5 during 1996/1997 and as International Director during 2000- 2002. Barry is a Lions CaringKids Project supporter and has been a proud Lions Member since 1976.
