Lions Club Supporters will cast their votes to extend the Lions CaringKids Project for three years this May.

The Lions CaringKids project has thrived over the last three years because Lions and Leos from across many Lions Districts hear about Young Carers and Joy Boxes.
They take the time to put the Lions CaringKids project on their club agenda, and they sponsor Joy Boxes filled with toys, games school stationery and sports equipment.
Funds are raised in so many creative ways, barbecues, raffles, trivia nights. We are always impressed with the determination and hard work happening in Lions Clubs behind the scenes.
Lions Family Fun Day at The Entrance NSW
At a recent Lions Family Fun Day at The Entrance NSW, CaringKids volunteer Mike Hurwitz (Berowra Lions) and Acting Board Chair Sabine Sabek shared the Lions CaringKids story with families, children and local Lions members, one conversation at a time.
Lion Michele Terry and the N3 Lions District extended the kind invitation for CaringKids to join the Fun Day.
22 clubs across the N3 District are already backing the Lions CaringKids Project. The N3 Lions District spans the NSW Central Coast, Hunter Region, Port Stephens, Newcastle, north to Gloucester, and west to Mudgee and Dunedoo.
That is extraordinary community reach, and just one example of how clubs in districts come together to support young carers.
This month, we will be at the Lions Multiple District National Convention in Adelaide [22-25 May 2026].
If you are a Lions member travelling to the Convention as a delegate, please vote YES to extend the Lions CaringKids Category B project from 2026 to 2029.
