Third Sector Awards
Our very own Sabine Sabek, volunteer Board Director and General Manager of CaringKids, has been named a Finalist in the 2022 Third Sector “Volunteer of the Year Award”. We congratulate Sabine and couldn’t be more proud of her.
Sabine’s dedication to bring joy to the lives of young carers combined with her volunteering efforts has supported CaringKids to distribute over 16,000 toys to children caring for a family member living with a disability or illness across Australia. She is truly an inspiration!
We would love your help in ensuring Sabine gets all the votes she so greatly deserves!
Cast your vote now for Sabine. Voting ends on the 12th of August, so be quick!
It’s easy to see why Sabine is a deserving finalist for Volunteer of the Year. Sabine began with CaringKids seven years ago as a Board Director and volunteer General Manager. Sabine is hands-on at our toy workshop, leading our volunteer team, making toy boxes for young carers packed full of toys, games, puzzles, sports equipment and school stationery. She also enjoys volunteering at weekend markets to raise funds to fill young carer Toy Boxes.
Once again, we congratulate Sabine on her nomination and being named a Finalist for the Third Sector Volunteer of the Year Award, and we know you do too! We hope you can take a moment to cast a vote for Sabine in recognition of her dedication and volunteering efforts.
Winners will be announced on the 2nd of September during the Third Sector Awards night in Sydney. The Third Sector Awards night is part of Third Sector Live, a 2-day conference that brings together the NFP sector in a unique opportunity for Australia’s sector leaders. Vote for Sabine now.
