Nicola Powell, Community Partnerships Manager at Clovelly Community Bank has been helping CaringKids to fill our Joy Boxes with hundreds of toys. Over the last 2 years, Nicola has encouraged local community and sporting clubs to donate items to bring joy to children with caring responsibilities.
This partnership was crucial to CaringKids being able to continue creating Joy Boxes throughout the pandemic lockdown periods and has assisted us to help hundreds of young carers. Thank you Nicola for connecting us with the community.
The bank will be hosting their third CaringKids Christmas Toy Drive this year in support of CaringKids!
Donations of new unwrapped gifts – up to 30cm in size – can be donated at the bank. Sought after items include:
- Stationery
- Art and craft materials
- Toys, games and puzzles
- Sports equipment
