Dr Marjorie O’Neill shines a light on young carers
Dr Marjorie O’Neill, Member for Coogee, supports CaringKids to raise awareness of young carers in the community and her office in Randwick is a local drop-off location for Joy Box donations all year round.
Last Christmas, Marjorie hosted a toy drive, encouraging the local community to leave a gift for a young carer under the tree at her office. Waverley Men’s Shed kindly donated an array of beautifully handcrafted toys to CaringKids. All toys donated last year found new homes and brought joy to so many young carers.
This year, Marjorie will be hosting a Christmas Toy Appeal for CaringKids for the second year in a row! With many more young carers coming forward for support, we thank Marjorie and her team for their continued support.
