CaringKids at the Lions Community Festival, Maitland

The Lions CaringKids Project was proud to be invited to attend the Lions Community Festival, hosted by the combined Lions Clubs of Maitland and Cessnock on Sunday 15 March 2026 at Harold Gregson Park in Maitland, NSW.

The free family event brought families together to enjoy a fun day out, with activities including a free BBQ, face painting, jumping castles, a petting zoo, live music and community information stalls.

For CaringKids, it was a wonderful opportunity to connect with Lions members and the local community, share our story and raise awareness about the young carers we support across Australia.

We are grateful to the combined Lions Clubs of Maitland and Cessnock for the invitation to be part of their day, and to every Lions member and supporter who stopped by to learn more about our work.
