My Kids Markets NSW: A Partnership Built on Community and Care
Some partnerships are meant to be, and our relationship with My Kids Markets NSW is proof of that. Since 2019, My Kids Markets has been a steadfast CaringKids supporter, and this past December, we came full circle.
My Kids Markets NSW held their very first market in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs at the Heffron Centre in Maroubra, and CaringKids was back where our journey together first began, selling toys to raise funds for young carers. It felt like coming home.
The market was a resounding success! Over 70 stalls filled the fully air-conditioned venue, offering families a treasure trove of pre-loved and boutique items, clothing, toys, books, games, shoes, prams, bikes, and nursery essentials. Shoppers saved big while supporting small businesses and charities like ours.
CaringKids set up our stall with sensory and plus toys for sale, plus a special raffle featuring a Unicorn Snack Box Hamper generously donated by Snack Box Hampers. We even had a festive photo backdrop where families captured Christmas memories, and introduced visitors to popcorn with a difference—popcorn you pop right on the cob from Good Dirt Foods! The kids absolutely loved it.
The atmosphere buzzed with excitement, laughter, and the true spirit of community.
