Westfield Local Hero Program

Cuppa TV host Maritza Barone grabs a cuppa to hear the story of CaringKids founder Margaret Skagias.

It was while working as a social worker that Margaret recognised the unique contribution of thousands of Australian children who take care of parents or siblings living with a disability or illness.

Margaret was chosen as a Westfield Local Hero in 2020, receiving a $10,000 grant from Westfield Eastgardens to further the work of CaringKids.
