I am reaching out on behalf of the whole CaringKids team to say a massive thank you for your support during our Christmas Toy Appeal. Your support helped make an impact on young carers, reconnecting them to the joys and wonders of childhood at such a magical time of year. Young carers across Australia deserve to have their hard work and responsibilities recognised all year round, but especially over the Christmas and New Year period – so thank you for helping us put a smile on their faces.
Your support goes a long way to ensuring CaringKids can reach as many young carers as possible. Unfortunately, the caring responsibilities of the young children that CaringKids support are not seasonal, and are a year-round job. So we are always looking for more support to ensure young carers are feeling recognised throughout the year.
In this spirit, we would love to stay engaged and continue working together this year. There are plenty of ways to stay involved, such as fundraisers and corporate days at our CaringKids workshop. Or maybe you have some great ideas about how we could collaborate? Contact us, your feedback is always welcome.
